The Palantir IPO could be a huge success, too. IPO rumors have been swirling around disruptive, millennial-focused trading platform Robinhood for several years now.
Instead, investors may have to wait until until the company goes public. As we all know, Robinhood disrupted the entire stock brokerage world by introducing scalable commission-free trading across its whole platform.
In the years since Robinhood has burst onto the scene with zero-free trading, every other broker house has followed suit.
Now, commission-free trading is essentially the norm across the industry. Ondas Holdings. ONDS PropTech Investment II.

And they were basically saying that they've incurred net losses in each year since their inception, and that they might not be able to achieve that profitability.
I'm curious just how you think investors are going to perceive this and whether or not you see that affecting investor interest.
Because I think we've gotten mixed signals on that front when you take a look at what's happened over the past couple of years. With Airbnb, I think it's an entirely sensible strategy to have focused on growth, become the dominant player where it's the first choice of people when they want to go to a website and look for a rental in some city that they want to travel to or that they have to travel to.
And they've got an international market. And they can become profitable when they are able to cut some of their expenses that have been high for building this expansion.
And secondly, the fraction of revenue that goes to them is something that's partly under their control as well. And so I don't see any reason to think that the company won't become profitable at some point.
But lots of average investors complain about IPOs, because average investors get cut out of that by the underwriters at the beginning.
But that also used to be the playground of charlatans. So how does an average investor get in on a traditional coming to market of a public IPO, and protect themselves in both of these scenarios?
And then at some point, they're going to propose a merger. Excuse me. I think that, you know, for individual investors, that's fine. They can then get in on the merger, but some work out, some don't.
What sectors do you see leading the way next year? And I think that's going to continue. They don't get the big headlines, but there have been a lot of deals in that sector and will continue to be.
Go Gators, and thank you for joining us here on Yahoo Finance Live. Reducing carbon emissions is all the vogue among the green policy wonks these days, and whether you believe in the efficacy of those policies or not, one thing is undeniable: they will have an impact on your daily life.
Specifically, they will impact the cars you drive — and probably your fuel and electric bills as well. The incoming Biden Administration is expected to look far more favorably on green policies, particularly the electrification of the automobile fleet.
Electric vehicles have been with us for a while, and some models are achieving popularity and driver approval.
The next step will be a governmental push, via policy, to make EVs cheaper to build, more affordable to buy, and more practical on the road.
In a recent report from Goldman Sachs, the investment giant foresees global sales of electric vehicles hitting 1.
We've used the TipRanks database to get a better sense of what other Wall Street analysts think about the trio. The Chinese domestic car market should not be overlooked — the country has a population near 1.
Companies are trying to plan ahead in terms of going for listing and trying to upgrade their digital platform to have a bigger market outreach.
Bursa Malaysia originally expected 40 listings this year and with 18 listings done so far, Wong presumed that some of the remaining companies may get listed in The moratorium helped the livelihood of people but also gave excess funds to do trading.
The offering doesn't yet have an expected valuation, but the latest round of funding could be a clue. Airbnb is one of the few remaining upcoming IPOs of , and it's likely to be one of the largest.
That's a sharp turnaround from earlier in the year, when the prospects for an Airbnb IPO had all but died. But since then, Airbnb has staged a remarkable comeback.
Part of that is because the company swiftly enacted policies to bolster safety for its customers. There also has been a surge in interest for local vacation stays, and Airbnb capitalized by changing its algorithms to optimize for this.
That's not to say an Airbnb IPO is without risks. After all, it appears the U. But the rollout of vaccines should lead to an eventual acceleration in the top line, likely later in But management's willingness and ability to make changes is a good sign that the company will find ways to deal with challenges.
A strong brand and dominant leadership position also could make Airbnb one of the best IPOs of this year or next.
Bumble is a unique social networking app that effectively offers three experiences. There's Bumble Date — a Tinder-esque dating app, but one in which women are solely responsible for making the first move in starting any connections.
But there's also "BFF mode," which allows people to search for friends. Bumble has reached more than million users in , and it monetizes those users via advertising, as well as a premium subscription option.
It's no wonder that Bumble has become a major competitor to Tinder. CEO and founder Whitney Wolfe started the firm in after her stint at the hugely popular dating app, which she also co-founded but left and later sued for sexual harassment and discrimination.
It was an unusual move for the private equity giant, which has mostly invested in traditional companies … but perhaps Blackstone realizes it needs to become more active in the digital world.
However, I can see these two being the one-two punch of the online dating world. Other smaller apps just can't compete with both of their models.
